fn_helpcollations geeft de volgende informatie terug.

SQL Server ondersteunt Windows-collaties. SQL Server ondersteunt ook een beperkt aantal (<80) collaties, SQL Server-collaties genoemd, die zijn ontwikkeld voordat SQL Server Windows-collaties ondersteunde. SQL Server-collaties worden nog steeds ondersteund voor achterwaartse compatibiliteit, maar mogen niet worden gebruikt voor nieuw ontwikkelingswerk. Voorbeelden

Het volgende voorbeeld geeft alle collatienamen die beginnen met de letter L en die binaire sorteer-collaties zijn.

Opmerking

Azure Synapse Analytics-queries tegen fn_helpcollations() moeten worden uitgevoerd in de masterdatabase.
