You can use BOM calculation to analyze the cost breakdown from multiple locations such as the Cost management module or within the sales order line.
Analyzing costs helps companies reduce the cost and increase profitability, and often helps them renegotiate terms with their vendors to have a new agreement or change their suppliers.
