DeleteObject method of the MSFT_Partition class

Deletes the partition and corresponding volume.

Syntax

UInt32 DeleteObject(
  [out] String ExtendedStatus
);

Parameters

ExtendedStatus [out]

A string that contains an embedded MSFT_StorageExtendedStatus object.

This parameter allows the storage provider to return extended (implementation-specific) error information.

Access denied (40001)

There are not enough resources to complete the operation. (40002)

The partition was deleted, although its access paths were not. (42000)

The extended partition still contains other partitions. (42001)
