Generowanie kodu w składniku LINQ to SQL

Kod reprezentujący bazę danych można wygenerować przy użyciu relacyjnej Projektant obiektu lub narzędzia wiersza polecenia SQLMetal. W obu przypadkach kompleksowe generowanie kodu odbywa się w trzech etapach:

  1. Ekstraktor DBML wyodrębnia informacje o schemacie z bazy danych i ponownie tworzy informacje w pliku DBML sformatowanym w formacie XML.

  2. Plik DBML jest skanowany przez moduł sprawdzania poprawności dbML pod kątem błędów.

  3. Jeśli nie pojawią się żadne błędy sprawdzania poprawności, plik zostanie przekazany do generatora kodu.
