Cannot update to Windows 24H2

Question

Hi,

I'm trying to update my Windows 11 23H2 to 24H2. It's finally available in Windows Updates, so I decided to try. It downloaded just fine, but when it gets to installing, I get the error code 0xc1900209, saying my PC couldn't be updated and to wait further - even though it should be already available.

in the setupdiagresult i see this

You must free up at least "18049" MB of space on the System Drive, and try again.

check the free space available in your system and free up if necessary

Plenty of storage drives.. My C Drive is a SATA SSD.

Edit: I freed up more than 20GB, retried and it worked.
