Hello there.

I've always been accessing my PC using pin code. Now I can't log into my PC because it had changed the way of logging in to microsoft account that I don't have access to. My files and everything was on this PC and I cannot have access to it. Hope someone can help.

Are you able to log in using this same Microsoft account online? Go to https://account.microsoft.com/ and try to sign in using the same Microsoft account, this will help to identify if the problem is on your Microsoft account or on your computer.

    Hi, thanks for your answer.

Unfortunately it doesn't solve my problem. My problem is that it forces me to log in by microsoft account and says "The Microsoft account doesn't exist. Enter a different account or get a new one". I cannot log in because of it. I can send you a screenshot tomorrow.

Hi, I'm Robinson, and I’m happy to help you today.

If you are receiving the error message "PIN not available" or "Wrong PIN try again", you can reset the PIN settings by renaming the Ngc folder in the Windows Recovery Environment, and then you should be able to sign in on Windows using your password.

1-Restart your computer while holding the SHIFT button

2-The Advanced Startup menu will open on the boot.

    3-Go to Troubleshoot.

4-Now, go to Advanced Options >Command prompt

5-Run this command to take ownership of the folder:

    icacls C:\Windows\ServiceProfiles\LocalService\AppData\Local\Microsoft\Ngc /T /Q /C /RESET

6-Run this command to rename the folder:

    Ren C:\Windows\ServiceProfiles\LocalService\AppData\Local\Microsoft\Ngc Ngc.old

7-When finished close the command prompt then click to return to the first screen

8-Click to continue to normal boot

9-Then you should be able to sign in on Windows using your password.
