Excel - PIVOT Table and filter dependencies

Hi All,

Something happened with my excel/pivot table and I cannot filter data anymore in a proper way.

Example:

During insert PIVOT Table according to Data Sheet where I have (Countries/States/Cities) and put all those columns into Filter in Pivot table, even if I choose some Country and then State, I see all Cities instend only those under the choosen Country and State. It seems that Dependencies is not working anymore. Do you know how to turn it on? I do not want to see all Cities but only those from particular Country and State.

It seems like you're trying to create dependent filters in your pivot table, where the choices available in one filter are based on the selection from another filter. For example, you have a list of Countries, States, and Cities. You select a country and a state, and you want the city filter to only display the cities that belong to that state and country.

Here's how you can create dependent filters in a pivot table using slicers:

1. Remove the filters from the pivot table and insert two slicers for Country and State.
2. Connect the slicers to both pivot tables using report connections.
3. Right-click on the slicers and select slicer settings to hide items with no data.
4. Select a country and a state from the slicers to filter the data in both pivot tables.

This should allow you to see only the cities that belong to the selected country and state.

Remember to refresh your pivot table after making changes to see the updated values.

Widzę że komunikacja z tobą jest raczej jednostronna i trudno się domyślać z jakim przypadkiem się wzmagasz.

Dodał być jakąś grafikę, czy zmiana parametrów widoku na coś wpływa, czy masz dojście do źródła danych, napisał czy realizujesz jakąś automatyzacje kodem (sprawdził ile masz pivotcache'y w skoroszycie)... nic.

Jeśli nie potrzebujesz więcej wyjaśnień to zamknij wątek aby liczyć na następne wsparcie.

w0dzi0 języka ojczystego też zapomniałeś?

To forum ma polską regionizację, post w pl-pl (masz w linku) i osoby jakie tutaj odpowiadają z poza regionu to honorują i również dają odpowiedź po polsku. Powinienem Cię przenieść na angielskie... no ale może tego nie zauważyłeś zatem zaznaczam. Nie obcinaj się tylko pisz odróżniając temat od treści już po naszemu.

p.s.

Może tabele połączona jest z fragmentatorami... i dlatego filtry nie działają.

Albo po prostu się sknociła.
