China DJCP (MLPS) Level 3
Azure China is a physically separated instance of cloud services located in China. It's independently operated and transacted by 21Vianet, one of the country’s largest Internet providers.
Microsoft Azure operated by 21Vianet was evaluated by an assessment organization authorized by the Ministry of Public Security (MPS) in accordance with GB/T 22239-2019 Information Security Technology—Baseline requirements for classified protection of cybersecurity and GB/T 28448-2019 Information Security Technology—Evaluation requirements for classified protection of cybersecurity. The assessment organization confirmed that Microsoft Azure operated by 21Vianet is compliant with DJCP 2.0 requirements and rated Azure to Level 3 in terms of information security protection classification.
