Remarks

The size of this structure changed with the release of Microsoft Internet Explorer 4.0. Developers must write code that checks the size of the BINDINFO structure that is passed into their implementation of this method before writing the members of the structure.

cbSize

Indicates the size of the structure in bytes.

cbstgmedData

Indicates the size of the data provided in the stgmedData member.

dwBindVerb

Indicates the value from the BINDVERB enumeration specifying an action to be performed during the bind operation.

dwCodePage

Represents an unsigned long integer value that contains the code page used to perform the conversion.

dwOptions

Reserved. Must be set to 0.

dwOptionsFlags

Reserved. Must be set to 0.

dwReserved

Reserved. Must be set to 0.

grfBindInfoF

Indicates the flag from the BINDINFOF enumeration that determines the use of URL encoding during the binding operation. This member is specific to URL monikers.

iid

Indicates the interface identifier of the IUnknown interface referred to by Microsoft.VisualStudio.OLE.Interop.BINDINFO.pUnk.

punk

Point to the IUnknown (COM) interface.

securityAttributes

Represents the Microsoft.VisualStudio.OLE.Interop.SECUTIRY_ATTRIBUTES structure that contains the descriptor for the object being bound to and indicates whether the handle retrieved by specifying this structure is inheritable.

stgmedData

Defines the data to be used in a PUT or POST operation specified by dwBindVerb.

szCustomVerb

Represents the BSTR specifying a protocol-specific custom action to be performed during the bind operation (only if dwBindVerb is set to BINDVERB_CUSTOM).

szExtraInfo

The behavior of this field is moniker-specific.
