(USA) Modify Commerce Services settings

You can modify store parameters in Microsoft Dynamics AX for individual stores.

You can also specify or change settings in Commerce Services for Microsoft Dynamics ERP that determine how you sell your products online. Depending on your organization, these settings may have been set up beforehand. For example, in some organizations IT staff specify some of these settings, while in others the sales manager or staff specify them.

This feature is not available if Microsoft Dynamics AX 2012 R3 is installed.

Modify store parameters

  1. Click Organization administration > Setup > Commerce Services > Store parameters.

  2. In the Store parameters - Commerce Services form, click Synchronize stores to get the full list of online stores and marketplaces.

  3. In the Online store column, select the store whose parameters you want to specify.

    In the Marketplace column, select a marketplace.

  4. In the Customer template column, select the customer whose attributes you want to use as a template for the online store. These attributes can include the following:

    • Price group

    • Delivery mode

    • Delivery term

    • Tax group

    • Site

    • Warehouse

    • Line discount

    • Multiline discount

    • Order discount

    • Customer group

    • Payment terms

  5. In the Shipping charges code column, select the shipping charges that you want the online store to use.

  6. In the Sales origin column, select which sales origin to use when online sales orders are created, such as e-mail or phone.

  7. When you finish specifying parameters, click Synchronize stores to update Commerce Services.

Modify Commerce Services settings

  1. Click Organization administration > Setup > Commerce Services > Online service account.

  2. Click Manage account online to open the Commerce Services web site.

  3. Enter your Microsoft Windows Live™ ID and password.

  4. In the navigation pane, click Home, click Setup and configuration, and then make the changes that you want to the following settings:

    • Departments and categories

    • Shipping methods

    • Payment providers

    • Payment methods

  5. In the navigation pane on the left, click Settings, click Sales tax, and then make the changes that you want.

  6. When you finish, click Sign out.
