The Add-MsolForeignGroupToRole cmdlet is used to add a security group from a partner tenant to the specified role in this tenant.

Syntax

Add-MsolForeignGroupToRole -ForeignCompanyObjectId <Guid> -ForeignGroupObjectId <Guid> -RoleObjectId <Guid> [-TenantId <Guid>] [<CommonParameters>]

Parameters

    -ForeignCompanyObjectId <Guid>
        The object ID of the partner tenant that contains the group to add.

        Accept wildcard characters?  false
        
    -ForeignGroupObjectId <Guid>
        The object ID of the group in the partner tenant to add.
        
        Required?                    true

    -RoleObjectId <Guid>
        The object ID of the role to add the group to.

    -TenantId <Guid>
        The unique ID of the tenant to perform the operation on.  If this is 
        not provided then it will default to the tenant of the current user.  
        This parameter is only applicable to partner users.
