The Business Intelligence Tools (BIT) in Speech Server are samples that illustrate how to build a data warehouse of large volumes of Speech Server data and Online Analytical Processing (OLAP) cubes for reporting on the data.

Reporting On the Cube Data

Deploy the Report Definition Language (RDL) reports found in the standard installation and then configure a data source to access the cube created by MssCubeDatabase.exe. For more information, see Build the Analysis Services Cube.

Because no time zone offset filtering is available with the Data Warehouse reports, report data viewed in both the standard Speech Server reports and the Data Warehouse reports can appear to be different. Setting the time zone offset filtering to Universal Time Coordinate (UTC) (in other words, no offset) in the standard reports should result in the data in both reports agreeing.

For more information about RDL reports, see Speech Server Reports for Use with SQL Server Reporting Services. For more information about SQL??Server Reporting Services, see SQL Server Reporting Services.
