Operator.CategoryName Property

Gets or sets the name of the category to which the operator belongs.

Property Value

A String value that specifies the name of the alert category.

Remarks

The CategoryName property of the SQL Server Management Objects (SMO) Operatorobject reference an applicable SQL Server Agent operator category.

Setting the Category property for the JobFilter object restricts listed SQL Server Agent jobs to those having the category when using the EnumJobs method of the JobServer object.
