ServerPermissionSet.AlterSettings Property
Gets or sets the Boolean property value that specifies whether to include the ALTER SETTINGS (ASLT) permission in the permission set. This permission lets the grantee alter any settings on the instance of SQL Server, such as the default database directory.

Property Value
A Boolean value that specifies whether to include the ALTER SETTINGS (ASLT) permission in the permission set. If True, the permission is included in the permission set. If False (default), the permission is excluded from the permission set.
