How to: Apply a Test Run Configuration
After you create or edit a test run configuration, it is saved to disk. You can then make one of your saved run configurations active. Only one run configuration can be active at a time. The active run configuration is the one that the test engine uses when it runs tests. Your choice of an active run configuration is maintained from one user session to the next.
To set the active test run configuration
On the Test menu, click Select Active Test Run Configuration.
A submenu lists all the run configurations in your current solution or project.
Click a run configuration to make it active.
This run configuration will now be used when you run tests.
