Parameters

flags: VSSAVEFLAGS

The save flags.

persistFile: Object

The file in which the docdata is to be saved.

untitledPath: String

File path to which the doc data for an as-yet unsaved document is to be saved.

progress: IVsProgress

The interface through which progress is reported.

Returns

IVsTask

A task representing the asynchronous operation. The result of the returned task will be IVsAsyncSaveResult.

Remarks

Implementers should be prepared for this method to be called on any thread.
