Public Overrides Function ConvertTo (context As ITypeDescriptorContext, culture As CultureInfo, value As Object, destinationType As Type) As Object
Parameters
- context
- ITypeDescriptorContext
A formatter context. This object can be used to get additional information about the environment this converter is being called from. This may be null
, so you should always check. Also, properties on the context object may also return null
.
- culture
- CultureInfo
A CultureInfo object that specifies the culture used to represent the object.
- value
- Object
The object to convert.
- destinationType
- Type
The data type to convert the object to.
Returns
The converted object.

Remarks
The most common type conversion is to and from a string type. The default implementation calls the ToString method of the object if the object is valid and if the destination type is string.
