A data mais antiga com suporte da JapaneseCalendar classe é 8 de setembro de 1868 C.E., no primeiro ano da era Meiji. Normalmente, as operações de data e hora que usam a JapaneseCalendar classe geram uma exceção ArgumentOutOfRangeException para datas antes dessa data.
