md5

Byte[]

A byte array that contains an MD5 hash value.

Returns

Hash

An object that contains the hash value provided by the md5 parameter.

Exceptions

ArgumentNullException

The md5 parameter is null.

Remarks

The returned Hash object contains only the MD5 property.

Due to collision problems with MD5, Microsoft recommends a security model based on SHA256 or better.
