A partir do .NET Framework 2.0, recomendamos que você crie XmlReader instâncias usando o XmlReader.Create método para aproveitar a nova funcionalidade.

Um documento XML em rede é composto por partes de dados agregados usando vários mecanismos de inclusão padrão W3C e, portanto, contém nós provenientes de locais diferentes. As entidades DTD são um exemplo disso, mas isso não se limita aos DTDs. O URI base informa de onde vieram esses nós. Se não houver nenhum URI base para os nós que estão sendo retornados (por exemplo, eles foram analisados de uma cadeia de caracteres na memória), String.Empty será retornado.
