Setting Up Windows Media Rights Manager 10.1.2 SDK

Application files for Windows Media Rights Manager 10.1.2 SDK are installed by default in C:\WMSDK\WMRM10.1.

You must obtain certificates from Microsoft to run Windows Media License Service and issue licenses . If you already have certificates for Microsoft Windows Media Rights Manager version 1, you can use those certificates instead. See the following procedures to set up your certificates:

Then, you must install the latest Windows Media License Service information (such as the revocation list) from the Microsoft Web site https://licenseserver.windowsmedia.com/. The revocation list contains all the application certificates of those players known to be damaged or corrupted, and is included in all the licenses that you issue.

If you are new to Windows Media Rights Manager, you can use the Quick Start to quickly set up and try out the Windows Media Rights Manager SDK.
