Small Business Role Center Window
This topic applies to Microsoft Dynamics C5 2016 and solutions that use the Simplified UX objects.
The Small Business Role Center is your starting place where you perform tasks involved in managing your business.
In the Getting Started group, choose a tile to learn more about Microsoft Dynamics C5 2016 and solutions using Simplified UX objects.
Note
If the tiles are not visible, on the Actions tab, choose Show/Hide Getting Started.
Choose a tile, such as Unpaid Sales Invoices, to open the list of posted sales invoices that are not yet paid.
In the Key Performance Indicators part, choose Select Chart to select from a list of charts that you want to display. Choose Previous Chart and Next Chart to see a different chart. Choose Chart Information on a chart to learn what information the chart shows.
Tasks
There are certain tasks that you perform frequently, such as offers to customers or creating invoices to sell and purchase products. Other tasks are less frequent, such as registering customers and products. The following table describes the different tasks, with links to the topics that describe them.

Create a purchase invoice for all or selected lines on a sales invoice. |

Create a customer card for each customer that you sell to. |

Create a vendor card for each vendor that you purchase from. |

Create an item card for each inventory item or service that you trade in. |

Increase or decrease an item’s inventory quantity, for example, after a physical count or as a simple way to record purchase receipts. |

Approve or reject requests for your approval of documents, cards, or journal lines. |
Microsoft Dynamics NAV provides a set of simplified pages and related objects under the name Simplified UX.
