Last Name Field, Employee Table
Specifies the employee's last name. You can enter a maximum of 30 characters.
The contents of the Last Name field are typically printed on employee labels and shown in various reports. You should therefore enter the name as you want it to appear.
If you change the contents of this field and have assigned the employee a Salespers./Purch. Code on the employee card, the program will copy these changes to the Salesperson/Purchaser table.
If the employee is also a resource in the Resources application area, any changes you make to this field will be carried over to the corresponding field on the resource card for the employee.
