Overhead Rate Field, Purchase Line Table
Specifies the item’s indirect cost as an absolute amount. The amount is added to the item’s unit cost to reflect indirect cost or overhead, such as freight and warehouse handling that are associated with the purchase of the item.
Additional Information
The value of the Overhead Rate field on the item card is copied to purchase lines and is used to calculate the value in the Unit Cost (LCY) field on a purchase line.
Note
The Planning Flexibility field is related to the Indirect Cost % field where it defines the overhead as a percentage of the value in the Direct Unit Cost field on the purchase line.
