Register Time Field, User Setup Table

Specifies whether to register the user's time usage defined as the time spent from when the user logs in to when the user logs out.

The User Time Register table can be used to register how much time a user spends in a company in the database. When the Register Time field is selected, information about the user ID, date, and number of minutes worked is automatically entered in the User Time Register table each time the user logs out. The time is registered in whole minutes, so periods of time can be rounded up or down by as much as 30 seconds.

Note

Unexpected interruptions to a user’s time in the database, such as idle session timeout, terminal server idle session timeout, or a client crash are not recorded in the time register. Accordingly, the time register only logs the elapsed time of a user session, not the elapsed time of actual user work.
