Parameters

• item
  Type: Microsoft.SharePoint.SPListItem

  The list item that is set to the specified value.

• value
  Type: System.String

  The value to which the list item is set.

Exceptions

Exception	Condition
ArgumentNullException	item is null .
SPException	value is required and is either empty or null .

Remarks

This method sets the specified list item to the specified value. If the value is required, value cannot be null . If the value is not required and value is null , this method sets the value of item to null .
