Running the Contacts Reference Application

The logic of the Microsoft Speech Application SDK Version 1.1 (SASDK) Contacts reference application is complex enough that a single, step-by-step explanation of all of the decision points and responses is impractical. Instead, this section outlines three scenarios using the Contacts application. Each scenario includes links to tables describing all of the possible inputs and responses to the ASP.NET Speech Controls that the application uses in the scenario. These scenarios illustrate the majority of the application's features.
Before running the Contacts application, print a copy of the Contacts Data Table for reference.
Contacts Application Scenarios:
- Scenario 1: Specifying contact names and receiving contact information
- Scenario 2: An unsuccessful call attempt followed by a successful call
- Scenario 3: Sending an e-mail message to a contact
