Requirements for the Service Manager Authoring Tool

Before you set up the Ferramenta de Criação do System Center Service Manager, ensure that the server on which you plan to install the Ferramenta de criação meets all the following requirements.

Server Requirements

You can install the Ferramenta de criação on a server that hosts the Service Manager management server or on a separate server. Also, if a previous version of the Authoring Tool exists, you must uninstall it before installing the Service Manager Authoring Tool Service Pack 1.

Operating System Requirements

  • Windows Vista (any edition) with the latest service pack

  • Windows 7

  • Windows Server 2008 with the latest service pack

  • Windows Server 2008 R2

Additional Requirements

  • Microsoft .NET Framework 3.5, which you can download from the Microsoft .NET Framework 3.5 Microsoft Download Center (https://go.microsoft.com/fwlink/?LinkId=162791).

  • Microsoft Visual Studio 2008 Shell, which must be in the same language as the display language of the operating system. You can install Microsoft Visual Studio 2008 Shell from the Prerequisites page on the Service Manager Authoring Tool Setup Wizard.
