NdisMDeregisterInterrupt (Windows CE 5.0)

Send Feedback

This function stops a miniport's interrupt service routine (ISR) from being called to handle NIC interrupts.

VOID NdisMDeregisterInterrupt(PNDIS_MINIPORT_INTERRUPT Interrupt);

Parameters

  • Interrupt
    [in] Pointer to an interrupt object previously registered with the NdisMRegisterInterrupt function.

Return Values

None.

Remarks

This function releases the association between the initialized interrupt object at Interrupt and the caller's MiniportISR function. It also releases the driver's claim on the interrupt vector or level in the registry.

This function can be called from the MiniportInitialize or the MiniportHalt function only if MiniportInitialize previously made a successful call to NdisMRegisterInterrupt.

The miniport should disable its NIC from generating interrupts before it calls this function. After this function returns control, the miniport cannot call the NdisMSynchronizeWithInterrupt function.

Requirements

OS Versions: Windows CE .NET 4.0 and later.
Header: Ndis.h.
Link Library: Ndis.dll.
