Initializes a new instance of the NullReferenceException class with a specified error message and a reference to the inner exception that caused the current exception.

Syntax

public NullReferenceException (
         string message,
         Exception innerException
)

Parameters

  • message
    The error message that explains the reason for the exception. This error message should be understandable to humans. Whoever calls this constructor must ensure that the error message has been localized for the current system culture.
  • innerException
    The exception that caused the current exception. If the innerException parameter is not a null reference, the current exception is raised in a catch block that handles the inner exception.
