Property Value

Type: System.Xml.Linq.XNode
An XNode containing the last child node of the XContainer.

Examples

The following example creates an element that contains child elements. It then gets the last child node of the parent element.

Dim output As New StringBuilder
Dim xmlTree As XElement = _
        <Root>
            <Child1>1</Child1>
            <Child2>2</Child2>
            <Child3>3</Child3>
            <Child4>4</Child4>
            <Child5>5</Child5>
        </Root>

Dim lastNode As XNode = xmlTree.LastNode
output.Append(lastNode)
output.Append(Environment.NewLine)
