BREAK sai do loop WHILE atual. Se o loop WHILE atual está aninhado em outro, BREAK sai apenas do loop atual e o controle é dado para a próxima instrução no loop externo.

BREAK geralmente está dentro de uma instrução IF.

Imagine uma tabela em que um valor é esperado quando outro processo antecedente é concluído:
