Oracle JD Edwards 8.98.1.0 released - Support for IE8, Windows Server 2008 and SQL 2008

JDE Tools Release 8.98.1.0 was released yesterday. With this latest Tools Release Oracle introduced support for Windows 2008 64bit, SQL Server 2008 64bit and Internet Explorer 8. This support extends to the deployment server, enterprise server, database server and web server. Attached are additional details.   

 

Additional notes:

· 8.98.1.0 is compatible with 8.10, 8.11, 8.11SP1, 8.12 and 9.0.

· Similar support for XE and 8.0 has not been released, however, I anticipate this will be introduced in May 2009 with the release of SP24.

    Is the support include the JDE Portal (based on OAS)? If so, where to find the install document. I have get the JDE JAS server to work in Windows 2008 with SQL 2008, but install the portal failed with the OAS 10.1.2.0.2 infrastructure and OID installation. Any suggestions?
