Soma Blog on New Features in C# 4.0
Just a quick note to point out that Soma posted on new features in C# 4.0 and VB 10.0. Both compilers will be part of Visual Studio 2010. Various team members responded to questions on the post, so there is additional information in the comments section.

The Visual Studio 2010 page [1] says: "Make sure your MSDN Premium subscription is current, and you'll get Visual Studio 2010 at no additional cost." That seems to imply that us lowly MSDN Professional subscribers won't get VS2010 as part of our subscription. Please tell me that's a mistake - Visual Studio is the main reason I subscribe! OK, Jono Wells has just confirmed that this was a mistake - MSDN Professional subscribers will get VS2010. What a relief!Anonymous

Just checked the page, and it appears to have been updated.... "Get Visual Studio 2010 when it ships! Make sure your MSDN Premium or Professional subscription is current, and you'll get Visual Studio 2010 at no additional cost. Learn more"Anonymous

Eliminating the Standard Edition is idiotic. Typical of Microsoft! Charlie, should I go back to Delphi? :<)
