Dynamics AX 2012 R2: Budget plan entry via Excel
The Excel Add-in enables users to interact with services to pull data from AX into Excel, enter and edit data in Excel, and then publish that data back into AX.
One of the best usages of the Excel Add-in in Dynamics AX 2012 R2 is budget plan entry. To enable Excel entry of budget plans, a budget planning process designer creates a template worksheet that exposes the desired data with the appropriate budget structure.
