Faber Nitor have released a solution for Windows Mobile that if you have your phone stolen it will automatically send you the thief’s mobile phone number and SIM card ID when they try and use the phone with their SIM card!

It does this by automatically recognising that an authorised SIM has been placed in the device and it then sends the information to an alternative mobile phone number you place in the application.

You can also send a Text to Lock your Phone and send a message to the person who ‘found it’ (or stole it)

    Depening on the model of phone, just hard reset it and the App will be disabled because it will be gone from the phone. --rc

    Cool application but not very useful on environments where you have received a pin code policy and a Wipe policy, as the phone will be wiped when he enteres the password incorrectly a certain number of times wiping the aplication and all its settings with it. Anyway a very cool end user app Thanks for sharing Fernando

    An excellent App, I only wish it could be installed into the ROM or a secret secondary storage device.
