If you have downloaded a copy of the Microsoft Dynamics AX 2009 Demo VMs then you might find these videos helpful for configuring the VMs to work with VPC2007 SP1.

Setting up AX-SRV-01

After you have this running you might want to look at extended features to use like AX-SRV-01 and the Office Communications, BizTalk Server or System Center Operations Manager. This vide can help you setup AX-SRV-03 for using these with Microsoft Dynamics AX 2009 on AX-SRV-01.
