The last personal blog post :) I promises

If you have been reading my blogs you know that I don't post anything personal. This is an exception :). You may have heard thought the grapevine that I am leaving Microsoft. Well, it’s sad but true. The time has come after six years of every paycheck a fortune, every meal a banquette, and every meeting a killer Halo game to end :(. I have enjoyed every moment of my time here at Microsoft working with such a bright and talented people. That said, what does this mean? I will still be active in the community around Commerce Server as well as maintaining this blog.

Life After Microsoft

I want to be closer to family so I will be moving back to Southern California, and be an independent consultant\trainer working with .NET, SQL, and Commerce Server.

You have been the best Commerce Server "configuration and customization" resource I have seen since the product's inception.  Immediately when your blog began, I was like "Wow, someone actually is adddressing REAL WORLD issues".  Make sure you let us know how to keep following your work and how to reach you!

Max, this sad news for all of us who invested themselves in this product. Is it have to do with rumors saying MS is going to stop CS development?

Hi Nachid, No, MS is not going to stop CS development if you look at Ryan Donovan's blog you will see that there is another version of the product in works and it's too early to disclose details. -Max
