New Integration Components for Linux VMs now available

The linux Integration Components version 2 are available now. They include Synthetic Network devices for both network and Storage.

Driver support for synthetic devices: The Linux Integration Components support the synthetic network controller and the synthetic storage controller that were developed specifically for Hyper-V.

Fastpath Boot Support for Hyper-V: Boot devices now take advantage of the block Virtualization Service Client (VSC) to provide enhanced performance.

    The opening of VSC and VMbus source for Linux sort of means we can write "VSC drivers" for Linux guests. Question: have the VMbus interfaces necessary to write VSC (and VSP) drivers for Windows been published? If so, where? If not, what is the current thinking? Jake Oshins has commented on this on the osronline ntdev list, but it's been a while...
