No audio in Windows Vista
Are you having problems with sound in Windows Vista? Do you get an error message saying ‘No audio device installed’? Are your headphones not working?
Microsoft have developed a clever downloadable package which scans your computer, detects common sounds problems (e.g. audio services not running, audio device disabled, audio device muted, audio device not set as default, etc…) and then FIXES them for you!
If you are not having sound problems, but want to see it in action, then simply set your volume to ‘mute’ and run the package - No audio in Windows Vista. The Microsoft Automated Troubleshooting Services package will detect that your sound is muted and turn it on for you :-)
