 He came into the SQL Server world from development background, having spent many
years creating data-driven applications. His understanding of T-SQL stems from
studying Pure Mathematics at university before he'd gone anywhere near a
database.

 He has been a SQL Server MVP since 2006, and is also a Microsoft Certified
Trainer. You may have seen him present (or even sing) at conferences in many
parts of the world, including events run by PASS, for which he sits on the
Board of Directors. His real passions are his Christian walk, his wife and
children, and Arsenal Football Club.
