Greetings designers! Have we got something that's sure to make you salivate all over your light table - Service Pack 1 for Microsoft Expression Design is finally here! Well, not here here, like not on this blogsite, but as sure as you can click a mouse button you can get it by clicking here! There's a healthy description of the service pack and a list of fixes on the Microsoft Website.
By clicking here, you can view the Microsoft Knowledge Base (KB) article "Description of Expression Design Service Pack 1" (942686). This article includes a list of new features that were included in Expression Design with SP1 such as the ability to name objects during export and updates to the XAML export dialog feature. Installation details and known issues are also included.
If you click here, you can view Microsoft KB Article 942685, "Issues that Are Fixed in Expression Design by Service Pack 1". This article contains the list of bug fixes patched by the service pack, which include various issues that can cause Expression Design to crash and localization issues that have been fixed.
