SerializationFormat

A SerializationFormat enumeration value that represents the format of the serialized data. The default value is XML.

Remarks

Data can be serialized in either an XML or binary format. Binary format is compact, and takes less storage than XML. XML, however, is a text format that is human-readable.

When you save or load serialized data, the format must be XML.
