O Crescendo é um acelerador de desenvolvimento que lhe permite criar rapidamente cmdlets do PowerShell que tiram partido das ferramentas de linha de comandos existentes. Crescendo amplifica a experiência da linha de comandos da ferramenta original para incluir a saída de objetos para o pipeline do PowerShell, elevação de privilégios e informações de ajuda integradas. Um módulo Crescendo substitui ferramentas de linha de comandos complexas por cmdlets do PowerShell que são mais fáceis de utilizar na automatização e empacotados para partilhar com membros da equipa.
