Remarks
The FragmentNavigationEventArgs class provides data when navigating to a uniform resource identifier (URI) that includes a fragment. A fragment is the value after the fragment delimiter (#). For example, when navigating within a frame, the URI /Views/AboutPage.xaml#contact specifies to navigate to the Silverlight page located at /Views/AboutPage.xaml and pass a fragment value of contact. Fragment values are typically used to request that the page be displayed in a particular state.
You access the FragmentNavigationEventArgs object either by overriding the OnFragmentNavigation method or by handling the FragmentNavigation event. The FragmentNavigation event is raised or the OnFragmentNavigation method is called when navigating to a new fragment in the current content or navigating to a fragment in new content.
The Fragment property contains the value of the URI fragment in a navigation request.
