virtual void OnSelecting(System::Web::UI::WebControls::LinqDataSourceSelectEventArgs ^ e);
protected virtual void OnSelecting (System.Web.UI.WebControls.LinqDataSourceSelectEventArgs e);
abstract member OnSelecting : System.Web.UI.WebControls.LinqDataSourceSelectEventArgs -> unit
override this.OnSelecting : System.Web.UI.WebControls.LinqDataSourceSelectEventArgs -> unit
Protected Overridable Sub OnSelecting (e As LinqDataSourceSelectEventArgs)
Parameters
The event data.
Remarks
Raising an event invokes the event handler through a delegate. For more information about how to handle events, see Handling and Raising Events.
The OnSelecting method also enables derived classes to handle the event without attaching a delegate. This is the preferred technique for handling the event in a derived class.
Notes to Inheritors
When you override the OnSelecting(LinqDataSourceSelectEventArgs) method in a derived class, make sure that you call the OnSelecting(LinqDataSourceSelectEventArgs) method for the base class so that registered delegates receive the event.
