protected:
virtual void OnUpdating(System::Web::UI::WebControls::LinqDataSourceUpdateEventArgs ^ e);
protected virtual void OnUpdating (System.Web.UI.WebControls.LinqDataSourceUpdateEventArgs e);
abstract member OnUpdating : System.Web.UI.WebControls.LinqDataSourceUpdateEventArgs -> unit
override this.OnUpdating : System.Web.UI.WebControls.LinqDataSourceUpdateEventArgs -> unit
Protected Overridable Sub OnUpdating (e As LinqDataSourceUpdateEventArgs)
Parameters
The event data.
Remarks
Raising an event invokes the event handler through a delegate. For more information about how to handle events, see Handling and Raising Events.
The OnUpdating method also enables derived classes to handle the event without attaching a delegate. This is the preferred technique for handling the event in a derived class.
Notes to Inheritors
When you override the OnUpdating(LinqDataSourceUpdateEventArgs) in a derived class, make sure that you call the OnUpdating(LinqDataSourceUpdateEventArgs) method for the base class so that registered delegates receive the event.
