Raises the DataBinding event.
protected:
override void OnDataBinding(EventArgs ^ e);
protected override void OnDataBinding (EventArgs e);
override this.OnDataBinding : EventArgs -> unit
Protected Overrides Sub OnDataBinding (e As EventArgs)
Parameters
A MenuEventArgs that contains the event data.
Remarks
The DataBinding event is raised when data is bound to the Menu control. This method notifies the control to perform any data-binding logic that is associated with it.
The OnDataBinding method allows derived classes to handle the event without attaching a delegate. This is the preferred technique for handling the event in a derived class.
This method is generally used by control developers when extending the Menu class.
Raising an event invokes the event handler through a delegate. For more information, see Handling and Raising Events.
Notes to Inheritors
When overriding OnDataBinding(EventArgs) in a derived class, be sure to call the base class's OnDataBinding(EventArgs) method so that registered delegates receive the event.
