Gets the value of the selected menu item.

The value of the selected menu item. The default is Empty, which indicates that no menu item is currently selected.

Remarks

Use the SelectedValue property as a shortcut to determine the text of the selected menu item. To access the other properties of the selected menu item, use the SelectedItem property.
