protected virtual void OnSelecting (System.Web.UI.WebControls.ObjectDataSourceSelectingEventArgs e);
abstract member OnSelecting : System.Web.UI.WebControls.ObjectDataSourceSelectingEventArgs -> unit
override this.OnSelecting : System.Web.UI.WebControls.ObjectDataSourceSelectingEventArgs -> unit
Protected Overridable Sub OnSelecting (e As ObjectDataSourceSelectingEventArgs)
Parameters
An ObjectDataSourceSelectingEventArgs that contains the event data.
Remarks
Raising an event invokes the event handler through a delegate. For more information about how to handle events, see Handling and Raising Events.
The OnSelecting method also allows derived classes to handle the event without attaching a delegate. This is the preferred technique for handling the event in a derived class.
Notes to Inheritors
When overriding the OnSelecting(ObjectDataSourceSelectingEventArgs) method in a derived class, be sure to call the OnSelecting(ObjectDataSourceSelectingEventArgs) method for the base class so that registered delegates receive the event.
